Wireless ENRADDPennsylvania ADEEP Area Three has nine wireless ENRADD speed enforcement devices. They are for use by municipal police departments. They may be used by any police department with a wireless ENRADD trained officer. Host departments:
Community Traffic Safety Program for Area 3The Community Traffic Safety Programs focus on highway safety issues occurring in their respective counties. These focus areas include, but are not limited to: Aggressive Driving, Impaired Driving, Occupant Protection, Youth Drivers, Pedestrian Safety, and Bicycle Safety. The Community Traffic Safety Program Coordinators can assist police departments with school programs, public awareness, equipment, and other resources pertaining to Highway Safety. Red Light Running![]() Most aggressive driving enforcement seems to be focused on speeding. Speeding is the number one cause of crashes in Pennsylvania. Roughly, twenty-five police departments, plus the Pennsylvania State Police took part in this program. Coordinated efforts increase profile and help to get media exposure. PAADEEP tries to have one such event in each region during each wave. "Skid Monster" at Eastern Pike PD Safety Day![]() Delaware Valley School District Driver Education instructor Joseph Sain gave practical instruction to drivers on cars skidding on ice. This demonstration was part of Eastern Pike Regional Police Department´s Safety Day event held on June 12, 2010. The “Skid Monster” has instructor-controlled casters instead of rear wheels and allows students to experience skidding on ice or wet roads. Driver education teacher Joe Sain explained that this useful tool allows driver education instructors at the school to show students the three-pronged maneuver of how to avoid an object, counter-steer, and return to the correct lane. 4x4 AD Enforcement Signs In UsePosted By: Robert Webre on 7 June Laflin Borough, Luzerne County police use their 4x4 aggressive driving enforcement sign on a speed detail.
